Comics - The Beagle Awards

Er, yes, the Beagle Awards. Not the Eagle Awards. The Beagles.

Well it made me laugh anyway. Details are short at the moment, but apparently the Beagle Awards are a new set of awards aimed at small press comics, to be given out at Bristol in May where the Eagles are also being awarded. I Imagine them as being what the Golden Globes are to the Oscars.

I have been nominated for, and won, awards before and it's a great feeling. Though from my experiences and talking to others who have won I've realised that it's not the life changing event you might hope. Still, everyone likes to be recognised for their achievements and the awards are no exception, whether Eagles, Beagles, Seagulls or Anna Neagles (sorry).
